In a recent turn of events, opposition parties in Haryana have come together to demand accountability from Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar for his controversial statement. The statement in question, made in response to the Nunh incident, has sparked a heated debate regarding the state’s law and order situation and the safety of its citizens.
Congress Rajya Sabha MP, Deepender Singh Hooda, joined the chorus of voices criticizing CM Khattar’s remarks. The Chief Minister had stated, “The state has an insufficient number of police forces, and not everyone can be provided security.” Hooda strongly condemned the statement, calling it irresponsible and lacking in a sense of duty towards the safety of the people.
The Nunh incident, which has been at the center of the debate, raised concerns over public safety and the role of law enforcement agencies in ensuring the security of citizens. Opposition parties have united in expressing their dissatisfaction with the government’s response to the incident and are calling for immediate action to address the issue.
In a press conference, Deepender Singh Hooda urged Chief Minister Khattar to take responsibility for the security situation in the state. Hooda stated, “If Khattar ji is incapable of fulfilling this responsibility, he should resign and hand us the command. We will show how security can be ensured.”
