Salman Khan has extended financial support to Bollywood workers, which includes technicians, make-up artists, stuntmen, and spot boys. He will be donating Rs 1500 each to 25,000 workers. Recently, Salman Khan distributed food packets to frontline warriors through his philanthropic initiative. The actor had started the initiative with Yuva Sena leader Rahul Kanal and they arranged for meal kits for nearly 5,000 frontline workers which include police personnel and health care workers.
Last year too, Salman Khan had transferred funds into the accounts of daily wage workers from the film industry. He had made a payment of Rs 3,000 each to the daily wage workers of the film industry and had promised to transfer more funds. Bollywood has reunited to extend support to all those affected by the second wave of COVID-19.
Salman has also been extending support and had done so last year too. As per the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) president BN Tiwari, Salman had in 2020 also provided monetary help to 25000 daily wage workers through his foundation. In these desperate times, some of the celebrities have actually stepped forward and joined hands with the common people to help them with the necessary things required to fight the pandemic.
The actor’s Being Human Foundation started a ‘Being Haangryy’ initiative to feed police officers and frontline workers across the city with the help of a food truck. Now, the actor has revived the good cause to provide relief to the medical staff who put their lives at risk to save patients during the pandemic.
Salman has been very vocal throughout the pandemic by urging people to mask up and follow COVID 19 guidelines on his social media. Salman Khan has the biggest heart in Bollywood. He had also helped the needy workers last year by helping them lead their daily lives. The special thing is that this time we had not even requested Salman Khan to help the workers. He himself has come forward and announced to help the daily laborers.
