Adar Poonawalla, CEO of Serum Institute of India (SII), the country’s largest pharmaceutical manufacturer, Pune, has been given the security of Y category with Pune-based Corona vaccine in the country. This protection will be given to them all over the country. In this regard, the Ministry of Home Affairs has issued an order on Wednesday. According to the order of the Ministry of Home Affairs, this security will be provided by the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) to the CEO of Serum Institute, Adar Poonawala.
Earlier, the serum has reduced the price of covisiled vaccine by Rs 100 to give the vaccine of the state governments. Pune-based Serum Institute of India (SII) had fixed the price of Rs 400 per dose for the state governments of its Kovid-19 vaccine ‘Covishield’. Now it has been reduced to Rs 300 per dose. SII CEO Adar Poonawala himself has given information about this by tweeting.
He said, “I reduce the price of the vaccine given by the Serum Institute of India to the state from Rs. 400 to Rs. 300 per dose and it will come into force with immediate effect.” This will save the state thousands of crores of rupees. This will allow for more vaccination and save countless lives. ”
